Our units come equipped with air-conditioning and fans to keep things perfectly cool—or toasty warm when the temperature dips. Yes, our aircons heat too!

Craving that Aston Bay evening breeze? Thanks to our secure gates, you can slide open the doors and let the fresh ocean air drift through your unit—it’s pure magic.

And while we’re proudly solar-powered, our batteries aren't quite strong enough to run the aircon overnight during loadshedding. Luckily, loadshedding has taken a break, and even if it returns, our fans and sea breeze will keep things breezy and pleasant.

Visiting in winter? We’ll make sure you’re snug as can be with extra blankets and cozy touches to make you feel right at home.

Travel Tip Tuesday: You have to see what I found!

Just a short drive from Aston Bay, there's an adventure waiting that’s wild in every sense – a day trip to Addo Elephant National Park!

Less than 2 hours away, Addo is home to the Big 5 – and it’s the only place in the world where you can spot the Big 7 (including whales and great white sharks if you're lucky).

What to pack:

- Binoculars
- Snacks (or enjoy lunch at the rest camp restaurant)
- Sunscreen and hats
- Your camera – you will want proof of that elephant crossing!

Best part? You can easily leave in the morning and be back in time for sundowners on your patio in Aston Bay.

Pro tip: Head out early – wildlife is more active in the morning, and the light is perfect for photos.

So if you're up for a wild day... Addo is calling!
