Traveling to Africa and experiencing epic landscapes, majestic wildlife, and diverse cultures is an incredible experience. Apart from doing some amazing safari trips, it’s always been important to me to understand about the critical issues affecting Africa’s wildlife and learn how we can conserve these amazing animals and preserve our ecosystems. So, I decided to combine my safari experiences with
learning about conservation in Africa by travelling with specialist guides, who have opened up a whole new ecological world for me.
The benefit of traveling with a specialist guide is their vast knowledge, experience and understanding of the ecological and political landscapes of life in the wild. They also understand that you need to structure your daily safari activities to your own personal requirements; like more time in the bush to study/photograph wildlife, time flexibility, cultural-conservation experiences, as well as walking, tracking safaris etc. all of which has given me a new travel perspective.
This Facebook/Instagram group is for people who have the interest of travelling to Africa in a small select group with myself and one of South Africa’s leading conservation experts as the specialist guide. I would love to share some amazing places and experiences across the continent with you, while learning about Africa’s conservation challenges. We will also get to meet some of the incredible people working on the ground to secure these wild places.
