Finally the beast is home, back in South Africa.
Shipping was delayed causing a bit of stress, but I am glad to say yesterday I drove my alcoholic husband (the beast) safely from Durban customs to my 3rd home in SA in Joburg without any problems.
The ship was due to arrive on 18th Nov, delayed to 22nd then to 26th then finally entered port on the 27th ( having been anchored outside Durban port for over 9 days due to Durban port being so busy)
It then took 2 days to unload the container, 1 from 2950, and 2 days to be released to customs. Another 2 days to be cleared as a re import into SA.
Stressful times when I am on such a tight deadline to prepare the car for its new owner!!ðŸ˜
But on the right track now.
Thank you Vernon from VPS Logistics in Durban for putting up with my anxiety, detective work and constant pestering. You did a fantastic job and miracle, as always.
