✈️ Important Update for Travellers to Mauritius 🇲🇺

Starting 1 October 2025, the Mauritian government will introduce a Tourist Fee of €3 per guest, per night.

This fee is part of their efforts to support sustainable tourism and improve infrastructure across the island.

✔️ It applies to travellers staying in hotels, guesthouses, tourist residences, and private estates, and will be collected at check-in.
✔️ Children under 12 are exempt from this fee.

If you’re planning a trip to Mauritius, it’s a small detail worth noting for your travel budget.
