a leading waste and hygiene cleaning company is seeking a Truck Driver/Skip bins Driver who's
up for the challenge! We offer more than just driving, expect a role that combines logistics, client
service, waste and skip bin expertise.
Responsibilities:
Drive company vehicles (large trucks and vans) safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic
laws and regulations.
Navigate predetermined routes and schedules- ensuring timely deliveries and
collections of skip bins, cleaning equipment, and other goods.
Load and unload-skip bins and equipment safely, following weight restrictions and
company safety protocols.
Operate skip bin lifting mechanisms efficiently and ensure proper placement at client
locations.
Provide exceptional customer service- communicating effectively with
clients, confirming appointments, and addressing concerns professionally.
Maintain accurate records- of deliveries, collections, and client information.
Assist with warehouse and distribution centre- tasks, managing cleaning supplies and
equipment inventory.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance- (topping up fluids, checking tire pressure).
Contribute to a safe work environment- by practicing defensive driving and adhering to
company safety protocols.
Be willing to learn and adapt- participating in training programs related to safe
driving, customer service, waste and skip bin operation.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' experience working in a cleaning and hygiene company.
Valid Code 14 driver's license with Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
Dangerous Goods endorsement a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules.
Commitment to safety and a clean work ethic.
