Johannesburg is the gateway to Africa and has rich and diverse cultures living together. Where else in South Africa can you find Indian, Arabic, African, European, and Asian neighbourhoods in one city? Ishvara, your tour guide, has been taking people into the inner city on cultural tours for over a decade. Initially, he took students from Prue Leith Chef Academy to learn about exotic ingredients.

This has evolved into taking their friends and family which eventually led to the general public. His unique style is entertaining, informative, and enriching. He lives in the inner city so speaks from personal experience when sharing urban legend and culture. He is globally well-traveled, well-versed in history, language, culture, cuisine, and offers you a one-of-a-kind experience. When he is not doing tours of Africa, The Middle East, and India, he is giving tours of the inner city, Johannesburg, the city that he calls home. Join the African Secrets Group for the latest on our walks.
