🇹🇿 Starting 10 June, Air Tanzania will launch direct flights from Johannesburg to Zanzibar, giving South African travellers easier access to East Africa’s scenic Indian Ocean coast.

The new route will run twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with return flights stopping in Dar es Salaam to strengthen regional travel connections.

This addition builds on the airline’s current Johannesburg–Dar es Salaam service, which runs five times a week and began in November 2023. It also supports wider efforts to grow tourism by improving flight options to popular destinations.
