Hey all, remember our Rooting4rhino virtual run is still happening up until the 16 November.
Run, walk, cycle or crawl wherever, whenever, it's your choice, our rhino don't mind. 🦏🦏

Or come join some locals running on our beautiful coastline in Kenton on Sea on either the 8th or 15th November. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

.The 22nd of September, marks the 9th World Rhino🦏 Day launched by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) - South Africa in 2010 under the theme 5 Rhino Species Forever. This annual day has since grown to become a global event drawing attention to the impact of poaching on the continued survival of the species.

Help us Help our Rhino by joining our 1st every virtual run. Rooting4Rhino Virutal RUN can be either walked, run or a donation can be made. Run wherever you are in the world. Beach or trail it's up to you.

Online registration opens TODAY - 22 September 🦏🦏🏃‍♀️🦏🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ and runs util Remembrance Day - 16 November 2020, marking the Chipembere Rhino Foundation 10 year anniversary.

We are also having some small group runs in Kenton-On-Sea for those that are in the area, we still can't have massive groups that is why we have chosen 4 Sundays so we can have 3 small groups.
Come join me on the the beach running the Rooting4Rhino trail.

27 Sept - Sunday Run @ 09H00
18 October - Sunday Run @ 09H30
15 November - Sunday Run @ 08H30

Kenton-on-Sea, the jewel of the Sunshine coast, a small town with a big heart; the barefoot capital of South Africa, home to Shelly Bay, one of South Africa’s secret beaches, and to Thandi, Kariega Game Reserve's poaching survivor, the poster girl who has inspired thousands across the globe to step up our conservation efforts and campaign to help save the species.

We are: Rooting4Rhino, Sunshine Coast Tourism, Nevertoforgetjourney and Chipembere Rhino Foundation

Our aim is to raise R90 000 over the next 18 months, representing the 9,000 rhino lost to poaching over the past 10 years including Chippy, Isipho and Geza. 🦏

To mark the 10 year anniversary of these rhinos deaths, that led to the founding of Chipembere Rhino Foundation, we are planning a number of events to help us reach our target that will be earmarked for Chipembere Rhino Foundation's projects on the ground, where it counts.

Rooting4Rhino Virtual Run will be the first event.🦏🏃‍♀️🏃🦏

Your route for our rhino: Rooting4RhinoVirtual RUN can be either walked🚶‍♀️ or run🏃‍♀️ (our rhinos don’t mind!) wherever you are in the world. Run, jog or walk on the road, beach or trail… you choose your pace – it’s your own race – for our rhino!
