The month of April honoured our nation's 30+ year journey of democracy and national unity. In the process of reflecting progress toward building a non-racial and inclusive society, "Collaboration" proved to be crucial in ensuring that n we laced up to conquer the hiking trails of the Magersfontein Battle Field.

Big ups to DSAC NCape, all stakeholders and hikers – both beginners and experienced. Nature did not beat us, instead we blended with it and took cover under the cloudy sky with one goal in mind ‘Hike towards Freedom’. WE DID IT!

What a weekend we had, for a change we experience the RAINBOW without having some rain. Positive vibes were all over and we felt honored to be part of the collaboration aimed at creating GBVF awareness within the LGBTIQA+ community.

Thanks to DSAC NCape and D'Gayle Diamonds Northern Cape for creating this opportunity and a special thanks to Upington parkrun for allowing us to join the trail.
