At Mattaniah Accommodation in Winklespruit, we believe a holiday should feel like coming home — relaxed, comfortable, peaceful and welcoming.
Our Unit 1 is a charming, self-catering 4-sleeper unit, ideal for couples, small families and guests travelling with their furry companions. Located on the beautiful KwaZulu-Natal South Coast, the accommodation is only approximately 200–250 metres from St Winifred’s Beach, giving you easy access to the sea, fresh coastal air and the relaxed lifestyle of Winklespruit.

At Mattaniah Accommodation, we understand that pets are part of the family. Unit 1 is pet-friendly, making it possible to enjoy your South Coast getaway without leaving your beloved companion behind.
For the comfort and safety of all our guests, we do have pet requirements. Pets must be vaccinated and treated for ticks and fleas, and guests are requested to bring a blanket for furniture. Dogs may not be left unattended in the unit.
Please note: We welcome suitable small and medium-sized pets, but large/power breeds are not permitted.

St Winifred’s Beach is only a short walk away, making it easy to enjoy the ocean without having to spend your holiday sitting in traffic.
Winklespruit and the surrounding KZN South Coast offer beautiful beaches, coastal walks, fishing, family activities, restaurants and plenty of opportunities simply to relax.
The nearby Winklespruit PRASA railway station also makes the area convenient for guests who want to explore the South Coast by train.
