We’re proud to live on the edge of the Kogelberg Biosphere, a place of extraordinary natural beauty. Please help us protect it during your stay:
• Care for our environment – take all litter with you and never leave refuse outside.
• Do not feed wildlife, especially baboons. Feeding them changes their behaviour and can be dangerous for both animals and people.
• Be vigilant with baboons – they may enter homes if given the chance, causing damage and learning bad habits. Keep doors and windows closed when unattended.
• Amidst the enchanting hikes, embrace nature’s wonders, but keep watch for our slithering neighbours. Mindful steps will ensure both humans and snakes share the trails harmoniously.
• Keep dogs on leashes – roaming pets disturb and harm wildlife. Please protect the delicate balance of nature.
• Fire safety – during the windy season, be extremely careful with braais and outdoor fires. Never leave them unattended.
