The heart of the Natal Colony in central Pietermaritzburg

Brothers Jackson and Turner from Bolder, Colorado on a tour of KZN. They are on their US summer vacation from college and were keen on the Drakensberg where we took them to the Bushmen paintings at Kamberg (fortunately a day before the snow hit and closed the road 😀) They were really interested in hearing the history of KZN and it's colonial past so what better place to take them than to the centre of Pietermaritzburg, the provincial and before that the Colonial capital of KZNatal to appreciate some of the historic red brick Colonial buildings.
