MEDIA STATEMENT

Temporary Closure of Cango Caves

Management of Cango Caves wishes to inform the public that the caves have been temporarily closed due to rock falls affecting access roads in the area.

The affected roads have been closed as a precautionary safety measure. As a result, the site is currently inaccessible to visitors and staff.

All tours and visitor activities at the caves are therefore suspended until further notice while assessments and road clearing operations continue.

The safety of the public remains the highest priority, and management is working closely with the relevant authorities to monitor the situation and restore access as soon as it is safe to do so.

Members of the public are requested to avoid the affected area and adhere to all road closure notices and instructions issued by officials.

Management apologises for the inconvenience and appreciates the public’s understanding and cooperation.

Further updates will be communicated through official channels.
