🐝🌿 Tiny creatures, big discoveries!

This week at Safari Baby & Toddler Academy, we’re exploring insects, garden visitors and amphibians. Our little learners will look closely at busy ants and bees, colourful butterflies, slow-moving snails and fascinating frogs—learning to be curious and gentle with the living things around us. 🦋🐸

🌸🌱 SPRING DAY REMINDER – ANYTHING BUT A FLOWERPOT! 🌱🌸

Spring is almost here, Safari Families! ☀️🦋🌷

Don’t forget our fun and creative “Anything BUT a Flowerpot” Spring Day on:

📅 Tuesday, 1 September 2026

We’re asking each child to bring ANYTHING BUT a normal flowerpot that can hold a little soil and a seed. 🌱 Let those imaginations run wild!

👢 An old boot
☕ A mug
🥫 A tin
🧸 An old toy
🪣 A little bucket
🧴 A plastic container
🚚 Or something completely unexpected!

Please no glass or sharp containers.

At school, each little gardener will 🌱 plant a seed, 💧 water it, 🏷️ give it a name and 🏡 take it home to care for and watch it grow!

And because Spring deserves something sweet… 🍦💕 each child will also enjoy an ice cream!

No need to buy anything special — have a look around the house and get creative with something you already have. ♻️🌿

We can’t wait to see what our LITTLE GARDENERS bring! 🌻🐝🦋

If it can hold some soil… it can grow something! 🌱💚

👵🏽👴🏻🇿🇦 GENERATIONS OF FUN – GRANDPARENTS DAY & HERITAGE CELEBRATION! 🇿🇦💛

There is something truly special about the bond between a child and their grandparents. ❤️ This September, we’re bringing our Safari generations together for a morning of old-fashioned fun, laughter, heritage and beautiful memories!

📅 Wednesday, 23 September 2026

Our little adventurers will make their way through a fun adventure obstacle trail, while Grandma and Grandpa walk alongside them — guiding, encouraging, cheering and lending a helping hand when needed. 🏃‍♀️🌿👣

👟 Dress: Something sporty with tekkies/sneakers
🧺 Picnic: Each family brings their own picnic basket and blanket or chairs
❤️ Can’t Grandma or Grandpa attend? Another special family member is very welcome to join in their place.

After all the adventure, we’ll slow things down and enjoy a relaxed family picnic together. 🧺🌳

Most importantly, this is not a race or competition — it’s about spending time together, having fun and celebrating the people, traditions and heritage that connect one generation to the next. 🇿🇦❤️

We cannot wait to welcome our Safari families for this very special celebration!
