On this Wednesday, I send you blessing and light,
May your trust in the Lord always burn bright.
In times of struggle and moments of despair,
Remember that God's grace is always near.

When your little hut is engulfed in flames,
Know that it may be a smoke signal that proclaims,
The rescue of God's love in ways unseen,
Guiding you towards a future that's serene.

When you feel it's impossible, too tough to bear,
God says, "All things are possible," so be aware.
When weariness takes hold and you can't go on,
God whispers, "I will give you rest," until dawn.

If you ever feel unloved, lonely, or rejected,
God assures, "I love you," words always respected.
In times of feeling weak, unable to cope,
God promises, "My grace is sufficient," giving hope.

When you think you can't manage, overwhelmed,
God promises, "I will supply all your needs," upheld.
Fear may try to grip you, causing you fright,
But God declared, "I have not given a spirit of fear," in His light.

When worry and frustration steal your peace,
God reminds, "Cast all your cares on ME," they will cease.
So on this Wednesday, may you trust in the Lord,
Finding strength, peace, and blessings to afford.

May His wisdom guide you, His love fill your soul,
May your faith in Him be the ultimate goal.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, unbreakable,

A 35-year-old mother died of water toxicity after drinking too much water in too short of a time (64 ounces in 20 minutes) while on vacation with her family.

Istanbul Airport is operating as normal. Turkey’s Adana Airport has been closed until further notice due to the earthquake that struck on Monday (6 February).

Gazientep Airport, Hatay Airport and the seaport of Ceyhan have also been closed and operations suspended in the wake of the natural disaster.

I'm in the mood to call out bu****it.
1. You run a small/medium business and you want everyone to share your posts.
2. You don't even hit like on the business posts of small/medium businesses in your circle.
3. You have time to like selfies.
4. You have time to like food pics.
Let's call out the bu****it people.
1. If you run a business= it's part of who you are. It will be part of your social media.
2. If people have been liking and sharing your posts- don't be an ass. Reciprocate- even if it's for other people. You don't know who might win.
I'm a shameless sharer of posts. I share posts of people I haven't even met. Why? I share because that person's business employs someone who is feeding and raising a family and maybe spending their wages at YOUR business or the business that helps write your paycheck. It's how the economy works. Plus I get a kick out of watching people thrive. You should too if you want shops to shop from and money to spend there.
So this year - don't be an ass.
Be lekker.
Share your business posts- if I see them I will share them too. Recommend businesses. Participate in the economic growth of the country. Encourage others. I can't drop you if your social media is all me me me me, but I will call you out on it. If you want economic opportunity and growth, do your part.
Here's how to help -
1. Share business pages and posts.
2. Invite your friends to like pages that you genuinely like.
3. Support locals wherever you can.
4. Participate in the economy even if you are a salaried worker- because your salary is fueled by a business.

UPDATE: The new SARS system is being piloted to digitise the process of voluntarily declaring goods or cash upon entering or leaving South Africa.
The project, which will be piloted at King Shaka International Airport from 1 November 2022, is part of a South African Traveller Management System (SATMS) designed to modernise customs procedures.
The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has announced the introduction of an online traveller declaration system to take effect, first at OR Tambo in November, and then to be rolled out to all international airports during the first quarter of 2023.
The new traveller declaration process is an online system that collects travel information and returns a traveller pass via email. Upon arrival in South Africa, there will be instructions at the airports that will guide and inform travellers what to do next,” says SARS’ statement.
SARS has not supplied the URL nor addressed any queries about the system.

New Zealand has removed the requirement for travellers to complete a COVID declaration form prior to arrival from 20 October 2022.
This means that travellers no longer need to declare their vaccination status or travel history to enter the country.
