Our trip to Isimangaliso Wetland park and Cape Vidal was quite eventful.
We stayed in St Lucia at a fantastic lodge called Umlilo Lodge and drove to Cape Vidal on two separate days.
On both days we encountered the same breeding herd of elephants in a particularly dense and narrow part of the road and had to sit waiting for them to move out the way before we could pass. We probably spent about 3 hours in total (4 separate occasions) waiting for them to move enough for us to safely pass. 😅
