⚠️ One point that needs clarification
The image says:
"Within 24 hours before your departure."
This is a simplified guideline. SARS requires the declaration to be submitted before you travel, and the system allows submission before arrival or departure. The 24-hour recommendation is intended to ensure your declaration is current and processed, but the legal requirement is that it is completed before crossing the border.
