**CONGRATULATIONS Jason Vanporppal **
26 years old young man on one skateboard, skating 6,000km. 106 days. πΊπ¬ πΏπ¦ major journeyππππ»
Jason has been pushing his way from Uganda to Cape Town to raise funds for the Kampala Skateboard Initiative β a dream to build the very first skate park for 100 kids in an Ugandan village.
Sore feet, blisters, dirt roads, rain, and moments where giving up felt easier than pushing on. Even when he had to leave his two friends behinde. He choose to push forward. Today, he rolls into Cape Town to finish what he started.
βEveryone has their own skateboard, in their own journey, in their own way.β
He arrives in Cape Town today 15h00 local time, City Bowl Skate Park.
Welcome to Cape Town πΉ The crowds where going nuts and couldn't wait to receive Jason. Well done another incredible journey.
This Journey that Jason Vanporppal started was not just a journey but also much inspiration to everyone in South Africa from young to old. Its a journey that teaches us, if you put your heart into something and you pray and trust God you will succeed. Nothing is impossible if you believe. It only take faith and one step forward. Even when giving up feels easier ,you need to push and trust the process to see the result. Thank you Jason above all thank you Lord for this young man that not only raised funds but to teach us about not giving up πππ
We hope you enjoy your time in Cape Town and will keep us posted on the Skateboard park in Uganda πΊπ¬ ps you must visit the beautiful little dorpie called Gordon's Bay ππ
