Kruger National Park is renowned as one of the world's premier game-watching destinations.

Observing the "Big Five" has become a coveted experience for many individuals embarking on a safari, and Kruger National Park boasts an impressive population of these species, with approximately 1,500 lion, 17,000 elephant, 48,000 buffalo, and 1,000 leopards. However, it is essential to recognize that spotting these animals should not be a prerequisite for a safari, nor should it be the primary focus, as the African bush is home to a diverse array of fascinating animals and birds.

The park is home to approximately 148 mammal species. Visitors can observe an extensive range of classical African big game, including elephant, black and white rhino, hippopotamus, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, warthog, and numerous antelope species. Large carnivores, such as lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, and spotted hyena, are also present, alongside many smaller, yet equally captivating, mammalian species.
