Memel is a town in the Free State province of South Africa, located close to the provincial boundaries of both kwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga, and is situated some 1,730 metres above sea level.

Working in the heat and dust, filling potholes with tar, is not an easy job, and we appreciate the effort everyone is putting in to make our roads better and safer for all who use them.

It’s encouraging to see what can be achieved when people work together for the good of our community.

Together, we are stronger! 💪

Memel Mini Market happening again this coming weekend 10 October.

Come early so you dont miss out. Susan and Marie will be there with their old fashioned cookies, Cilmari Geldenhuys with all her goodies, sourdough breads, home made muesli and of course her Veldmuys pants, Anton Jacobs with delicious meats, cheese and other cold foods, Bietjie Boer with home preserves, boer seep and more, pancakes, vetkoek, cakes, tea and coffee, and so much more!
