Harry my good friend with his 6 th Eland Bull that we have had the privilege of hunting together. A colossal bull at that and one that will stay fresh in our minds for years to come . A kudu bull had been high on the wish list for my friends son for a very long time , and as life has its own way we hadn’t seen each other for a couple of years . In between his last visit and now he had tried for a kudu on a few occasions at other venues without any success. As Lady Luck would have it we connected on this fine old bull on the first morning of his hunt . The areas we hunt , hold a substantial population of the greyghost specie . Hunting the right areas just gives you a much better chance at your target animal . Well done young man on your first corkscrew , indeed one to be proud of. Herman Prinsloo

After taking the track and finding them pretty quickly, we sat down and made our game plan . Could see a cow lying 60 yards off , so I butt scooted around until I located where the bull was at . He was a monster and sleeping with his head flat on the ground. It was a waiting game and after an hour or so he stood up and presented a full frontal shot , he was not going to turn and afraid of the wind shifting I told Wian Dykema to take the shot . Last year we had shot a great bull on the Botswana border , however I knew at the first glance this bull was bigger . A hunt and a story not to be forgotten quickly . Congratulations buddy , my second with you and privilege to say the least .

The Rock Buck , typically known as the Klipspringer is a very sought after specie and a member of the tiny ten family. They are very sure footed in the terrain they dwell . This is a specie that reacts to a whistle if one knows how to call , however this one was hunted by means of spot and stalk . This specific one was taken in our Northern region between the Sandstone Koppies . Congratulations to the hunter on a fine specimen.
