The Adventure Academy’s road Braking and Cornering course is being held on Sunday 19 October at Redstar.
To be a part of this life saving event, where we teach the correct and safest techniques to avoid the two most common motorcycling accidents; corners and stopping.
R2200 per rider, including class, track, lunch and the most worthwhile day you’ve spent on your bike in years!
It’s not a ‘track day’, there’s no hooliganism.
No, you don’t need sticky tyres; 50/50’s are perfect if that’s what you usually ride on.
This is a learning event with a stepped learning curve designed to build your skills in a safe and controlled manner.

So I got sent this from a young Chap David Kroukamp, who before immigrating recently, attended a few of our Braking and Cornering courses. It’s so great to know our impact is real.

Just thought I'd let you in on something that happened today...

So! A about a week ago I finally managed to get my drivers licence for the Netherlands sorted.

I was terrified of driving on the wrong side of the road over here (and the number of things you have to look out for is very overwhelming 😐)

So I decided to join a Dutch riding course / tour thing. Started in the Netherlands on Friday, and then we're in Germany until Monday and then heading back. They teach you everything from awareness to good riding practices to lines to technique.

Today we had a session in the German mountains where we got to go as fast as we were comfortable with, and have one of the instructors film and give feedback... It was loads of fun... Was doing all my looking through corners, using the rear brake in corners, correct feet and body position

Anyway! When I finished my run, the instructor just said "wow, that was intense... I wish i had something to give you pointers on, but your technique is perfect"

And I just thought "thank you, Andy 😁"

So you can now say that even the Dutch give your riding lessons a 10/10!
