The world can be a crazy place, but sometimes true beacons of hope and inspiration shine through the madness.
For us at Thornleys, we are so very blessed to have a tangible and ever-present example of such inspiration by way of our neighbors, Botshabelo.
On most days, that joyful sound of children laughing, singing and playing can clearly be heard from our offices and this spurned on a need to reach out to see who we needed to thank for such a gift.
After meeting Andy, Lauren and Warren, it was clear to see just how committed and passionate they were and the immense effort they, and the entire team at Botshabelo, put in to providing the community with both a children’s home as well as an education facility for kids growing up in the area.
This Mandela Day, the choice was easy for us when it came to finding a worthy cause to support and all employees were given an opportunity to give back to the community…….. and the team didn’t disappoint!
Usually, we load up our flight cases with amazing tech, but on this special day, we were fortunate enough to load them up with much needed supplies 😉
Thank You to everyone who generously donated, and we as a company look forward to assisting Botshabelo in future endeavors and to continue giving back where we can.
