Plastic pollution is an enormous problem facing our oceans and their wildlife.

But there are many simple sustainable swaps and lifestyle changes that you can adopt to help tackle the plastic tide.

Here’s some simple ideas:
✨Use a reusable bottle instead of buying a single-use bottle each time you want a drink
✨ Ditch single-use coffee cups and instead invest in a reusable version
✨ Say no to plastic straws! If you need to use a straw opt for a sustainable version instead, such as a bamboo, metal or glass straw
✨ Join a beach clean once a month. Don’t live near the coast? All rivers lead to the ocean so do a river clean instead!
✨Buy food NOT wrapped in plastic where you can. Bring your own containers to shops where possible and buy non-packaged fruits and veggies

What swap will you make for our seas today? 🤗

“The truth is: the natural world is changing. And we are totally dependent on that world. It provides our food, water and air. It is the most precious thing we have and we need to defend it.” —Sir David Attenborough
