People always ask me: “Why be a charter captain/owner? The early mornings, the weather, the work?”
Simple. *It’s for that moment.*
The moment that rod bends. The moment a client who’s never fished before is screaming “I’ve got one!” The moment a dad and his kids are high-fiving on my deck with a Kob in the hatch and salt in their hair.
I’m the owner and captain of *Salt Life Fishing Charters* because I get to give people that story. Out on the water, no emails, no traffic — just ocean, mates, and fish.
I built this boat, this business, so that every person who steps on board feels like they’re part of the crew for the day. Safe, looked after, and with the best shot at a fish we can give them.
This isn’t just a job to me. It’s my office. It’s my passion. And it’s why I get up at 4am with a smile.
