Caitlin, from Virginia, has just completed two weeks on the Cape Winelands Working Riding Holiday. 🍇🐴

Caitlin shared a few of her favourite pictures with us, and as usual we are blown away by the stunning scenery!

The Winelands offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, rich heritage, and slow, unhurried adventure.

Horse riding through the Cape Winelands is a breathtaking experience, with winding vineyard trails beneath wide blue skies, and dramatic mountain ranges as a back drop.

Kim from Wild Inside Adventures has just spent two weeks visiting the Horse Safari Experience… and what an adventure it’s been! 🦓🐆🐘🦒

We’ve explored two reserves… had close encounters from the saddle with elephant, cheetah, giraffe, zebra and plenty of plains wildlife… and made some amazing bonds along the way!

⭐️ Thanks to Tamlyn Whitebread and Rudi at The Horse Safari Assistance Programme for being amazing hosts and wonderful people, as usual!

⭐️ Looking for a family friendly riding safari?

Look no further! The Signature Safari in the Waterberg region of South Africa is perfect for horsey families wanting to experience an adventure together!

Riders can enjoy many different activities on horseback - from safari outrides and discovering wildlife, to polocrosse, jumping, western games, and swimming with your horse.

After all the riding activities, have supper around the fire and roast some marshmallows in the flames together.

Any riding level accepted.

This is the perfect riding holiday for those riders wishing to experience the pleasure of riding with African wildlife in the absence of predators and dangerous game. Wildlife to be seen on the reserve include hippo, giraffe, zebra, plains antelope, leopard, caracal, brown hyena, jackal, crocodile and aardvark.

Sandra and Tammy have just wrapped up their first week on the Cape Winelands Working Riding Holiday, and they’ve shared some of their favourite moments with us so far! 🐎🍇🍾

The ladies have been absolutely sizzling, with temperatures soaring above 40°C last week! ☀️🔥

Despite the heat, they’ve still managed to squeeze in some incredible rides through the vineyards — and even enjoyed a refreshing swim with the horses to cool off. 🏇💦

Sandra and Tammy still have a few days left in the Winelands before heading off on their next adventure: two weeks on the Horse Safari Volunteer Experience.

We can’t wait to follow along as their journey continues! ✨🌍
