Interesting display of male urinating on the female. Urinating shows an interesting display of rank of dominance with in the pack.
Usually alpha male and alpha female will urinate on each as well as other members 9f the pack .
The 2nd dominant pair will urinate on the rest of the pack except the alpha pair.
The dog that smells the most is usually the lowest ranking in the pack.

It is with great sadness and heart break to say that this beautiful, incredible, persistent mom has gone from 7 babies to 2 this morning.
Even the atmosphere and vibe between this little family felt a little subdued today.
Always hoping for just the best of success for them.

These birds mate for life. Some folklore tie them deeply to life long partnerships.
The colorful feathers have been used as decorations on wedding dresses and some cultures have used the feathers as wedding rings

I know it happens but I have never seen it before. So took a few guesses to what this hyena was carrying in her mouth.
Ostrich eggs can weigh up to 1.4kg and are about the equivalent of 24 chicken eggs.
The eggs are a high nutrient source of calories, fat and protein in the wild.

Watching this mom cheetah start from 7 cubs to 4 and now down to 3 babes has been a heartbreaking but awe inspiring time!
The vulnerabilities and the hardships that they have endured together in this period would have most of us giving up. But to watch the persistence and perseverance to survive on a daily basis is something we could all take a lesson from!
We will be keeping our eyes closely on their journey.
