As Women’s Month comes to a close, we’re ending our celebration by passing something that goes beyond a rose: 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬, 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐞, 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫.

Across our TDM brands, teams are passing the rose from one to the next, sharing heartfelt messages of encouragement and celebrating the incredible women who make a difference every day.

Because when we take a moment to lift someone else up, we create a ripple of positivity that can go much further than we realise.

𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐔𝐬: 𝐙𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐍𝐤𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐞

As we continue our 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞, today we celebrate Zandile Nkambule and her inspiring journey in tourism.

Zandile began her career in 2011 as a Junior Tour Consultant, specialising in 4x4 self-drive tours through Southern Africa. She joined Uitkyk Holidays, now part of Sense of Oceans, in 2012 and progressed to Senior Tour Consultant, building her expertise through extensive travel across the destinations she sells, as well as international product training in Germany and the Netherlands.

Her career is a reflection of an inclusive environment that values everyone’s contribution and worth, regardless of gender.

Her colleagues describe Zandile as 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝. She is a calm and supportive leader who provides guidance, keeps her team on track and goes the extra mile to ensure that agents and clients receive the very best service.

Their presence is part of the balance of nature, and their movements help shape the environments shared by so many other species.

Today, we celebrate these magnificent animals and the wild spaces that make their existence possible.

We proudly support the conservation of Africa’s wildlife and the protection of the natural world we all share. 💙

There is nothing quite like seeing a lion in the wild.

The silence. The presence. The freedom.

Today, we celebrate these magnificent animals and the wild spaces they call home. We proudly stand with Blood Lions and their campaign, supporting a future where lions are valued for what they truly are, wild animals that belong in the wild.

As a responsible tourism industry, we have the power to make choices that protect wildlife, respect animal welfare and keep authentic encounters truly wild.

Let’s keep lions wild. Let’s let them live as nature intended.

Today, on 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐲, we celebrate the dedicated rangers of Gorongosa National Park who work tirelessly to protect wildlife, preserve biodiversity, and safeguard one of Africa's greatest conservation success stories. Their courage, resilience, and commitment make a lasting difference every day.

Today, we also recognise the inspiring journeys of Cândida Marques Cabeça, Maria Horácio Fernando Jasse, and Mirione João Macandigana, whose passion and dedication embody the true spirit of conservation.
