🚙 Top Tips for 4x4 Camper Travel in Namibia & Botswana (High Season)

Planning a self-drive adventure in Namibia or Botswana during high season (June–Oct)? It’s one of Africa’s most epic road trips—but you'll want to be prepared. Here are quick essentials:

🔹 Book Early – Campsites in Etosha, Moremi, and Chobe fill up months in advance. Plan 6–9 months ahead.
🔹 Get the Right 4x4 – Choose a reliable vehicle with a rooftop tent, fridge, and two spare tires. Of course this means, choose AfriCamper.
🔹 Drive Smart – Namibia = gravel; Botswana = sand. Lower tire pressure, carry a compressor, and know your routes.
