🌸 Spring is waking up in the Karoo! 🌿☀️

After months of dry browns, dusty landscapes and chilly mornings, the Karoo is slowly starting to show off again. 🌼

With spring on its way, little splashes of colour are appearing everywhere — wildflowers are blooming, the veld is coming alive, and what once looked dull and dry is becoming beautiful again.

Folks we are experiencing some tough storms. Luckily the meerkats are hanging in there. Here is the last image I got from them earlier this afternoon.

Jokes aside we had some floods and epic winds to follow up but the meerkats are doing fine. Minor damages to the burrows but ill make a video with everything a bit later. Hope you are all safe and warm

Ever wonder what our burrows look like from above? This is our main burrow and has upwards of 70 different entrances and exits. Its the biggest one we have seen and I've marked it on the one image. Everything in the red lines is part of the same system and the meerkats can enter on the one side and move underground all the way to the other side.
