South Africans can now travel to Germany...

The move to recategorize both South Africa and Namibia as a No-Risk area, means that there are effectively no travel restrictions when travelling from South Africa or Namibia to Germany. Therefore, passengers no longer need to undergo quarantine upon arrival in Germany from South Africa or Namibia.

Additionally, fully vaccinated or recovered persons no longer need to provide a negative COVID-19 test result prior to their flight to Germany. It is however, still a requirement for all passengers travelling to South Africa or Namibia from Germany, to provide a negative COVID-19 test result prior to their departure flight.
