For those of our clients who have travelled to Mala Mala and are familiar with the lion dynamics, the Kambula pride has been split for long enough now for the two groups to be considered as two separate prides:

• The larger portion, consisting of 5 females (including one of the original lionesses) and 13 cubs, will keep their current name.
• The other portion, consisting of 3 of the original lionesses and 3 cubs, will adopt the pride’s alias: Ntsevu pride.

Terrible news out of Tanzania - a 3rd Amboseli elephant bull Tusker was hunted and killed on the 1st of March 2024 in Enduimet.

This needs to be stopped and the agreement on no cross border hunting needs to be reestablished immediately between Tanzania and Kenya. It’s unknown at this time on who the Tusker might be. Please spread this news wide and far.

An international team of scientists has achieved an unprecedented milestone in rhinoceros reproduction by orchestrating the world’s first pregnancy through embryo transfer at Conservancy in Kenya.

The team confirmed a 70-day pregnancy with a 6.4 cm male embryo from a southern white rhino.

The success of the southern white rhino embryo transfer and pregnancy serves as an emphatic proof of concept, propelling the team toward the pivotal next step-the transfer of northern white rhino embryos into a surrogate mother.

Chipazua - a legendary leopardess from the Luangwa Valley, Zambia.
Having witnessed her drop onto this young Puku from a Sausage Tree after several hours of waiting, our due reward was to see her able to feed her grown cubs with this well earned kill.
