Another fantastic day tour to Aquila! It was again a privilege to introduce guests to so many incredible animals and to experience some of the new facilities. Aquila remains a firm favourite among visitors who may not have the opportunity to travel to the northern parts of South Africa for a traditional Safari. It’s a wonderful way to experience the beauty and wildlife of Africa, all within a comfortable day trip from the Cape Winelands.

Another unforgettable day in the Cape Winelands!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful day with my two guests visiting from Singapore, exploring some of the beautiful and unique experiences our region has to offer.

Our day included a visit to Fairview, the wonderful Klipvlei Olives, a very special private w**e tasting hosted by Francois Haasbroek of Black Water Wines.

What makes days like these so rewarding for me as a Private Tour Guide is seeing the genuine excitement and amazement of my guests when they discover our beautiful landscapes, w**es, food, history and the people behind them.

A special thank you to Francois Haasbroek for sharing his passion and knowledge during our private tasting, and to everyone at Fairview, Klipvlei Olives for contributing to such a memorable experience.

I had a wonderful afternoon with Jackie and the team at Zomerlust Boutique Hotel in Paarl.

The gardens of this beautiful new hotel are a true oasis, while the elegant rooms reflect both sophistication and a rich sense of history.

The culinary experience at the hotel’s top-class restaurant, **Smeul**, is equally impressive. The food, prepared by award-winning chef Kevin Grobler, is an absolute delight and a real experience for the senses.

Zomerlust Boutique Hotel and Smeul are truly wonderful additions to Paarl and the Drakenstein region.** It is exciting to see such a special destination bringing together history, hospitality, beautiful surroundings and exceptional cuisine.
