Sports, Arts and Culture Minister Gayton McKenzie says that the Formula 1 World Championship will "definitely be coming to South Africa" after renewed talks with the racing championship's leadership. He didn't give timelines for when the event would be hosted.

Speaking at the Tourism Business Council of South Africa Tourism Leadership Conference in Sun City, McKenzie said that the Ultimate Fighting Championship and the Power Slap Championship were also coming to the country.
