September is Tourism and Heritage Month on the Sunshine Coast, and the calendar is already bursting with things to see and do!

While we look ahead to Kenton Rhino Rising from 17โ€“20 September, four days dedicated to rhino conservation, and The Barefoot Arts Meander from 25โ€“27 September, celebrating art, writers and live performances, this weekend is already packed with springtime action.

Today, Friday 4th September, kicks off with the Casual Day Fun Run/Walk in Port Alfred this afternoon, a quiz night in Boknes, live music at Wharf Street Pub & Grill and spring vibes at the Beach Bar.

Saturday 5th brings Park Run, markets, the Bathurst Spring Saunter, a book launch in Kenton, a ride on the PA Train, the DKMS Stem Cell Donor Drive at Guidoโ€™s Food and Craft Market and plenty of places to catch the big South Africa versus New Zealand rugby clash.

Sunday 6th offers the Bathurst Farmers Market, a charity fun run/walk in Bushmans, a creative gouache workshop in Bathurst and Link Up Sunday in Port Alfred. Thereโ€™s no better time to get out and explore the Sunshine Coast!

The first weekend of Spring is shaping up to be a good one in Port Alfred. ๐ŸŒŠโ˜€๏ธ

Kick things off on Friday night at Guido's Beach Bar with a Spring Vibes Party, where tropical beats, sunset views and a lively dance floor set the tone for the weekend ahead.

On Saturday, rugby fans can catch the Springboks take on New Zealand live on the big screens at both Guido's Family Restaurant & SALTY Ocean View Bar and Beach Bar. Settle in for the action with great food, cold drinks and plenty of gees as South Africa takes on the All Blacks.

Once the final whistle blows, the evening continues at Beach Bar with karaoke and a Sokkie Saturday that promises plenty of singalongs, dancing and good company.
