Welcome to Bayview Loghome,

Bayview Loghome is a self-catering three-bedroom log home situated in the stunning village of Blue Horizon Bay. This village is set in a nature conservancy and is on a pristine beach set between the Van Stadens river mouth and Maitlands lagoon. (Between Port Elizabeth and Jeffrey’s Bay).

The home is nestled in a bed of Milkwood Trees with expansive sea views allowing for privacy and a direct connection to nature.

The three spacious on suite bedroom home is set on levels to maximise the sea views and the Alaskan style log walls allow for a feeling of warmth that is unique to the property. The deck leads out to a beautiful view of the bay and amazing sunsets. The main beach is just over a kilometre away, with a shop, restaurant/pub and beauty salon on route.

The bedrooms are very spacious and ideal to relax and enjoy your privacy. Two bedrooms are situated upstairs, each with their own private balcony and breath-taking views of the Bay. The third bedroom on the ground floor has an additional sleeper couch, which is ideal for children. The living space also offers an additional sleeper couch.

The home has an open plan kitchen area, with a fridge, dishwasher, microwave and gas stove, all necessary crockery and cutlery, as well as a washing machine in the upstairs bedroom. An outside weber braai is available for charcoal braai’s only, no wood fires due to the nature conservancy.

Bayview Loghome sleeps 6 Adults and 4 children.

*Bedroom Two upstairs: Queen size bed, bath, shower and toilet with a private balcony and sea view.

Bayview Loghome is situated in close proximity to van Stadens River Mouth with Van Stadens Wildflower reserve hikes, Maitland’s walking trails, Three River trails and Slipperfields MTB trails. Port Elizabeth is the closest city situated 38km away, and Jeffrey’s Bay 65km. Slipperfields is also a very popular wedding venue, a mere 15 km from Blue Horizon Bay where guests can book in at Bayview Loghome to attend weddings.
