The day started off in Addo Elephant National Park with great sightings of elephants, a lioness, buffalo etc. After lunch at the Cattle Baron Restaurant we backtracked down south and headed for Schotia Private Game Reserve. At Schotia the sightings kept on getting better inspite of having initial challenges in finding the "sleeping" lions. Just as we were about to leave Schotia our guide, Joel asked the guests whether they were keen on giving a second try in finding the lions. This offer was accepted with a rejuvenated hope. Joel managed spot the Cape Male lion that was walking in the middle of the dense Schotia bushes more than a kilometre away. Joel used his more than 20 years guiding skills to further track down this beast until he eventually reappeared right next to the track we were driving on ...to be continued.
