Stunning painting of the Lighthouse!

I don't mind if artists ask to use my photos to create a painting, thanks to Carol Hesselman for sharing the end result, it is beautiful.

Cape Recife was mysterious and magical yesterday, the clouds started clearing and the sun peeked through them creating those beautiful "fingers of God"* that stroked the sky. The lighthouse stood resolute through the bad weather and the beach was coated with a layer of wet wind-blown sand reflecting the light and helping to create this lovey moody moment that my camera captured.

*they can be made using Photoshop but I prefer those created by Mother Nature.

A few years ago someone built a few crosses in the Cape Recife Nature Reserve, he or she is back and this is the latest offering near the lighthouse. The symbolic shape throws a long shadow across the sand.
