Hi guys, just a quick update regarding level 4.

We did not get entirely locked down this time.

There's still a lot of grey areas regarding accommodation but no current bookings will be canceled and guests can still book as long as everyone obeys to the current level 4 regulations.

• Accommodation is classified as a gathering, which is not correct according to the TBCSA.

• Establishments are only allowed 50% capacity of rooms available. The TBCSA argues we can't and shouldn't require guests who are already at establishments to leave because of this clause.

• You may only offer room service and delivery as dining options during this two-week period. SATSA requested clarity on in-house meals.

• Persons in transit are allowed to travel through Gauteng. SATSA requested clarity on travelers who need to transit overnight in the province.

We will keep you updated on any feedback received on these questions and objections.

WE ARE OPEN

Framesby Guesthouse in Port Elizabeth obtained it's level 4 permit to accommodate essential related travelers as well as anyone in need of self-isolation or quarantine.

We've put strict safety measures in place including sanitizing facilities, closure of communal amenities and limited staff. Rooms and linen are being washed, sanitized and steamed after departure of guests. Staff will not be entering your room during your stay.

A set of new rules will be given to you on arrival in regulation of the Covid-19 Pandemic that we're facing. This is to assure the safety of our guests and our staff.
