Where have we been

Long weekend 4x4'ing in the Transkei.
Date:29 March 2024-1 April 2024
Goals:
1. 2 Days of great 4x4'ing
2. A trip to one of the biggest Vulture breeding grounds in the world, high up in the mountains (you cannot miss this).
3. Visiting of at least 2 spectacular waterfalls.
4. Great fun and evening entertainment in the comfort of scenic accommodation.
We will start the journey with the ferry crossing at Kei mouth in the former Transkei. From there we will be traveling all along the coastline and through the valleys and ravines of this beautiful area.
We will stay over in various locations, but the Wave Crest and Mazeppa Bay hotels always are some of our favorites.
What you need:
1. A reliable 4x4 with good ground clearance.
2. Low range a must.
3. Diff-lock optional, but a good advantage...
4. Your camera and a hat.
5. A good sense of humor.
