Farewell from The Pont Holiday Resort

To all our wonderful guests,

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the closure of The Pont Holiday Resort in Port St Johns. We are deeply grateful for every guest who has walked through our doors, the friendships we have formed, and the unforgettable memories shared.

To our loyal regulars and the legendary fishing gangs—your stories, laughter, and camaraderie have made this journey truly special. We will miss every moment!

As we close this chapter, we are excited to return home to spend precious time with our families and grandchildren. While we say goodbye to The Pont, we take with us a lifetime of cherished memories.

While we still sit without power due to flood damage in the area this has not deterred us from our improvements to the property. While not having power has slowed some progress we have pushed a head with other improvements. Slabs have been thrown infrom of the bathrooms by campsite 1 and 2.

Upgrades Upgrades Upgrades at The Pont. We been very busy doing some much needed maintenance and upgrades. The roof on Units 5, 6 and 7 has been replaced and is looking fantastic.
