difference in their lives. We started in 2018 with a Blanket Run in conjunction with Ford-Mal. The Blanket Run was for 2 x Children Homes in Rustenburg. We were blessed enough to get them a sponsor for gas, for the gas stoves for 2 years. We also could have assisted them with meat, food, toys, blankets ext. You must saw the kids faces when they are saw all the goods, we got them form donations, it was hart broken. We also hold a mini auction on the day to gather more money for them. What we did is I arranged a charity run with Ford vehicles only. At the end of the day, we were +- 158 Ford’s that drove in a convoy to the Children homes. We also had a performer or 2 on the stage that ensure everyone had a great time. In 2019 we had a Charity run to Woodstock an Animal Shelter. We gathered a lot of dog and cat food as well as some blankets for the animals. There was also some money left which we donate for vet bills. Then Covid-19 hit us all and everything was put on hold. But in 2023 we start to help Charities again. We are currently busy to ask for donations for a Wildlife Sanctuary which really need help with the animals. We are asking if anyone would be willing to assist us with funds so that we can assist with donations for them to help rebuild again. We also plan to do a Charity run for an Old Age Home in 2024. We will start by looking for a needy Old Age Home beginning 2024. The more donations we can receive the more people we can assist. Please help us to help others.

At Monkey Explore, giving back to communities is just as important to us as exploring the great outdoors.

Many of our trips include charity initiatives, where we support local communities and causes along the way. But once the work is done, you will often find us doing what we love most — heading off the tar roads and onto the dirt tracks.

You often see vehicles with stickers that say “Life begins where the tar ends.” With Monkey Explore, we do not need a sticker to remind us of that — we simply live it.

Our vehicles rarely stay clean for long. After a full weekend of exploring dirt roads, visiting small towns, and enjoying the outdoors, they always return home covered in dust and mud.

Our motto is simple:

If your vehicle is still clean after the weekend, you probably did not have a great adventure.

Adventure, community, and purpose — that is what Monkey Explore is all about.

At Monkey Explore, every trail teaches you something new about off-road driving and vehicle capability.

While crossing low-water rivers during one of our recent adventures, we had to climb back onto dry land where the riverbank was steep and scattered with obstacles.
