Meet Clayton - our man who always makes it happen.

If you've travelled with SAMA Motorcycle Tours, there's a good chance you've met Clayton.

Over the past 44 tours, Clayton has become the person everyone can rely on. Whether it's helping you through an African border crossing, carrying luggage after a long day's ride, finding a bottle of water in the middle of the night, or solving a problem before you even know there is one, nothing is ever too much trouble.

His dedication to our guests is one of the reasons so many riders leave Africa feeling like they've travelled with friends.

Now, we're excited to celebrate a special milestone with him.

Clayton recently earned his motorcycle licence and has just become the proud owner of one of our 2024 BMW R1250 GS Triple Black motorcycles. After years of supporting our tours from the backup vehicle, he's now enjoying Africa from the saddle of one of the world's most iconic adventure bikes.

From the southern tip of Africa to one of the world's greatest natural wonders... 🏍️🌍

Our recent 18-Day Cape to Victoria Falls Tour was packed with unforgettable moments, and these photos and videos capture just a glimpse of the adventure.
From spectacular coastal roads and the dramatic Fish River Canyon, to the towering dunes of Namibia, the wildlife of Botswana, and the breathtaking finale at Victoria Falls, every day brought something new. Along the way, riders also experienced quad biking, mokoro safaris, Big 5 encounters, incredible landscapes, and friendships that last long after the engines stop.
