Update from Zambia: the leopard didn't come back to the bait, so we're loading up on more to keep the game going. In the meantime, we took on a massive hippo, what an experience that was. The recovery was no easy task, but we got it done with some great help from local fishermen to get him to the bank. Lots of bait to cut now, let's get it out there.

Some memories are made in a single frame, Others are made slowly, boots up by the fire, watching the flames do their thing while the day settles into a story you'll tell for years.
This is why we do this. Not just for the hunt, but for who you become friends with along the way — the guys who show up as clients and leave as family. Days spent chasing something together, evenings spent doing nothing but sitting back and being grateful for it.
Here's to the friendships this life keeps giving us. More fires, more hunts, more memories in the making.

The bush give us something to smile about though — a beautiful Puku trophy! What an incredible animal and another great trophy .

Another successful hunt in the books at Kemp African Safaris!
Andy and Kathy finished their trip on a high note. Kathy put in great work to harvest a beautiful giraffe,bluewildebeest and a buffalo female, while Andy walked away with two nice warthogs and a duiker.
