Mauritius is open to South African travellers

If you are fully vaccinated no quarantine is required. Take a PCR test within 72 hours prior to departure and book COVID-19 health insurance.

You will have to complete a health self-declaration form and a Passenger locator form.

Wearing a face mask is mandatory during the flight as well as upon arrival and transfer.

If you are staying in a hotel there will be no PCR testing at the airport. Antigen tests will be carried our at the hotel on arrival and on day 5.

Hwange National Park offers exceptional game viewing year round and is home to approximately 46 000 elephants. In the dry season you are likely to see elephants in the hundreds congregating at water points throughout the park. You will always find more elephants than guests visiting Hwange National Park in any given year!

Ivory Lodge is located in the forestry area on the outskirts of the park. It offers family-friendly safari experiences and is famous for its exhilarating up-close sightings of the Presidential Elephant Herd.

The Lodge has a main thatched dining and lounge area with a guest swimming pool. The watering hole is frequented by elephants, predators and a number of other game species.

The rooms are elegantly built on stilted wooden platforms offering elevated views of the open floodplain and watering hole in front of camp.
