This is one of the wildest and unbelievable moments the clients have ever experienced. Two male lions right beside our car! Not every day you get a front row seat to two male lions in the wild. What a moment! 😲🦁

Keep the sound on for our guest’s reaction at the end.🔊

An extreme last minute booking with very limited time for game viewing but it turned into one of the most amazing safari days! 🚙✨

The morning started bright and early with the best kind of surprise… having back on tour with ! The catch up was so real that the drive to the gates flew by in what felt like seconds. 🗣️💨
Once we went through the gates, the bush truly delivered. 💚 First timer's luck and zero expectations or rigid checklists. They just wanted to see whatever came their way, and honestly, that’s always when the magic happens! We had the most incredible, unexpected sightings. 🦁🦒🦅

Proof that sometimes, the unplanned trips are the ones you never forget. . .

🎬 Part 4 of 4: Durban City Tour! 🇿🇦✨
We got the ultimate panoramic look at the city from the Durban viewpoint. 🌆🔭
Next was the Warwick Street markets, where you can basically buy anything and I mean anything! 🛍️🔥
From there, we slowed things down at the beautiful Durban Botanic Gardens. These gardens dates back to 1849 and actually started as an experimental site for crops like sugarcane, coffee, and pineapples before evolving into the massive botanical beauty it is today! 🌿☕🍍
We wrapped up the day at the historic Durban City Hall. Construction starting in 1906 and the doors were open in 1910. It is almost an exact replica of Belfast City Hall in Northern Ireland! 🏛️🇬🇧
What an unforgettable way to end the journey! 🙌

Part 3 – Mahatma Gandhi Settlement in Inanda & Hare Krishna Temple in Phoenix. 👌🏽

From the legacy of peace at Phoenix Settlement to the spiritual serenity of the Hare Krishna Temple, this experience reminds us of the importance of harmony, service, and understanding in our communities. 🙏🏽
The iconic Phoenix Settlement, founded by Mahatma Gandhi in 1904. This was the birthplace of Gandhi’s philosophy of Satyagraha. It was here that he published the Indian Opinion newspaper, and laid the foundation for a movement that would inspire the world. A powerful legacy that shaped both South African and Indian history.
Our journey continued to the beautiful Hare Krishna Temple🛕 of Understanding in Phoenix a peaceful sanctuary known for its stunning architecture, spiritual atmosphere, and community upliftment programs.

Part 2: Our next stop was the striking Moses Mabhida Stadium! 🏟️
While the architecture is breathtaking, the history inside is what stays with you. We visited the exhibition centre for a powerful look back at the making of South Africa. A moving photographic journey tracking our story from 1910 right through to today. 🙏🏽📸

Stepping back in time to honour our roots. 📜✨

I recently went on a Little India tour to dive deeper into the rich Indian Heritage here in South Africa. This was to educate myself and to share with friends who have been curious about Indian history.
The journey started with a poignant look at our beginnings as indentured laborers. As part of the Rainbow Nation, it brought up a profound sadness to realise how our ancestral customs and languages are slowly slipping away over time. 😔 But acknowledging this decline is the very first step toward reclaiming and reviving the Indian cultural legacy! ✊🏽🔥

🌱 Highlight of the day: We explored a beautiful central garden which thoughtfully brings together indigenous South African plants alongside plants brought from India, creating a deeply symbolic journey between two lands connected across oceans and generations.
It’s amazing to see how nature keeps our history alive.

Let’s keep learning, remembering, and reviving. 🇿🇦🤝🇮🇳

A Spyced experience to end my Cape Town trip on a high! 🇿🇦✨
There’s something so grounding about a night like this… surrounded by good people, the pulse of the drums, and the incredible aroma of spices. 🥁🌶️
Between the rhythm and the food, we even had some traditional face painting done. 🎨✨
It wasn’t just a meal; it was a full gastronomy experience. If you’re ever in the Mother City, put this at the top of your list. 🥘🍷
My heart (and my stomach) is officially full. The perfect goodbye. ❤️

If you only have one morning to spend in Cape Town, here is a POV. I finally tracked down the famous chair, and looking out at the Twelve Apostles... wow. 🌊 Of course, I did squeeze in a few site inspections too, but when work looks like this, I’m not complaining! No rush, no plans just me taking in the most incredible view. Absolute soul food. 💙
