The legendary female cheetah, Rain from Pilanesberg National Park

Unfortunately died over a year and a half ago now. She was the supermom of Pilanesberg successfully raising at least 4 litters of cubs!

What a legend she was.

ABSOLUTE TANK

The incredible Jelani male emerging from one of the malelane drainage system.

As we were driving we heard a heard of impala going crazy looking toward a big culvert where there was a massive marula tree. Convinced there was a leopard nearby purely from looking at the environment, we drove toward the tree and out popped one of Malelane's biggest male leopards, Jelani. A very shy and elusive male leopard. But boy is he HUGE. He was on the scent of a female leopard close by (as seen by his flegmen grimace) who we found the very next day 1km up the road.

What a sighting!
