We bring you encouraging news from Jerusalem today.
Ceasefire & Regional Stability
The ceasefire agreement reached between the United States and Iran remains in place. Further negotiations are scheduled, and we remain hopeful and prayerful that this marks a meaningful step toward long term stability in the region.
Life in Israel Returning to Normal
The Home Front Command has now assigned a green status across nearly all regions of Israel. Most schools reopened on Monday, signalling a strong return to daily life. We continue to pray for the communities along the northern border to experience the same peace and restoration soon.
The Skies Are Opening
Ben Gurion Airport is preparing to return to increased capacity. El Al has already announced full flights to major destinations
Ethiopian Airlines will resume flights from South Africa to Israel from 16 April 2026, which means your groups can begin finalising their travel plans.
Important Notice for Travellers
Karelaine Tours kindly advises all participants to:
• Keep deposits ready
• Prepare final payments where travel dates are approaching
This will help avoid disputes regarding late payments, potential fuel surcharge increases, or the loss of reserved seats.
Our tours scheduled from March to May 2026 have been postponed, to later dates in the year and many other agencies are experiencing the same. These postponed tours may create a bottleneck with limited seat availability. Unpaid seats will unfortunately be forfeited.
