We were numerous times within 40 yards of buffalo from day one, most of them just too young to shoot or just didn't get a shot in on a big mature bull until day 8. Unfortunately, on this stalk, and myself got close but didn't get a good shot at the big impala male we were after. Next time, he might not be so lucky.
