An elephant’s daily needs are on a whole different level, an adult African African bush elephant can drink up to around 150–300 litres of water a day and eat roughly 100–200 kg of vegetation. Constant feeding and frequent drinking are essential to keep their massive bodies going. 🐘

What a privilege! 🐘
The last few weeks have been absolutely magical here on Lake St Lucia. We’ve been seeing Elephants right along the Shores, and even had the incredible sight of them swimming past our Shoreline Hippo and Croc Boat Cruises St Lucia

Nothing beats watching these gentle giants take a dip in the lake with hippos and crocs sharing the same waters. Just another day in iSimangaliso Wetland Park
