It's truly been an eventful week in and around St Lucia. The park is fast transforming back into a green lush garden.

One can see just how green as one Hippo navigates through the bush closer enroute to Cape Vidal . Other than that this time of year is also magical as the newborns arrive and parenting takes place.

Well it's happened again yesterday as the sun was about to set in the Eastern Shores. Two magnificent Leopards strolling about and just going about what it is that they do when the park closes.

Out and About in the Eastern Shores of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park RIGHT NOW. It's a bit overcast with some light showers. But that has not stopped the magnificent wildlife out in the bush.

Fun Facts About Kudu's:

Did you know that these incredible animals can easily jump as high as 2 meters and when startled up to 3.5 meters. Only males have antlers that can grow as long as 1.2 meters. This male Kudu is quite incredible.
